Nike can use virtual realities and simulations to project what products will be sold when and project their sales for the future. They can use these to predict sales in different seasons of the year.
GPS shows where everything is and Nike can use this to their advantage by planting stores in areas where there is a lot of people around and they could use the data from GPS to see where sales should be higher than other areas. Another advantage is promotion; Nike could promote their products and company throughout areas with a high population and have stronger promotions in highly populated areas than areas with a small population.
Data analysis software helps Nike build relationships with investors and build relationships with sponsors. Data analysis techniques can help Nike gain greater insight into organizational, industry, and customer trends.
